I'm using a pretty new Lenovo Thinkpad X1 Extreme G2. Since a few days,
the laptop does not recognize that its charging all the time. It's

I finally found that the xfce4-screensaver package is causing the hang.
Removing this package helped and the Xubuntu session no longer hangs
after being left idle.

I got the from wgrant and recently qemu in Debian adopted a similar change.
Getting this into Focal would allow riscv to have that functionality (probably
more for the tools than actual virtualization).

latest daily of the arm64 rpi image dated 04-14 does not boot:
Renaming these in /boot/firmware/
boot.scr.bak
syscfg.txt.bak
cmdline.bak
bcm2711-rpi-4-b.dtb.bak
and using these from an older image results in a bootable image
boot.scr
syscfg.txt
config.txt
This will also complete the partial remote spice (which is a bug to be
half-way added not a new feature)
