The other reason this is a critical bug is because if the user does not
have Thunderbird configured to save messages in Sent Mail -- which the
user *shouldn't*, e.g., if the user is using Gmail, since Gmail saves
outbound messages automatically, then this bug causes DATA LOSS by
closing the window
Thunderbird 91 is just around the corner, and any change to 78 could no
longer get beta testing, so even with a fix to the old code we would not
take it at this point.

On 5.08 kernel, the bug appears too, but in different form. Instead of
"whole-kernel-freeze", some processes trying to write on btrfs filesystem hung,
same as some system utilities. The hanged processes sometimes remainded in the

I cannot reproduce the problem on 18.04 nor 20.04.
The years 2020-2023 looks good to me on 20.04 then you can close this ticket.

Grub2 will not boot FreeBSD:
error:can't find command 'hwmatch'
The file hwmatch.mod is in the i386-pc directory, which is not in the
proper location for grub to find during boot.
cp -R /usr/lib/grub/i386-pc /boot/grub
fixes this problm

I presented the snap problem for James Henstridge, and he gave me a very
useful hint: The Chromium snap makes use of the bionic library stack
(the gnome-3-28-1804 snap) including the im module installed by fcitx-
frontend-gtk3, i.e. the fcitx 4 gtk im module.
