I'm sorry, but Ubuntu can't support software it doesn't provide. If you
can replicate the problem w/ Ubuntu provided packages (i.e. not beryl),
then please file a new bug.
As a rule of thumb, if you have to an a non ubuntu.com repository, it

what version of libwnck do you use (dpkg -l libwnck18), according to the

I don't know, since I upgraded to Edgy (which comes with Firefox2) I
had no hangs in firefox. But before upgrading I was still having
arround 6 to 10 hangs in one morning (wich firefox 1.5.0.x from
Dapper).

Normally i Already put the log files on the bugzilla server.

The clock of one of my routers running Dapper had bogus time (something
that ntpd was slowly but steadily working on). Then I added an
interface and boom! the time was stepped. OSPF went into an retarded
state, loosing random routes and everything was going crazy.
After
I'd agree that Deleted items folder isn't the best solution,
especially in the example given, but on the other hand as someone who
lives in England I'm pretty certain that I've never once said
wastebasket. In my opinion the correct term should be Rubbish bin.

I removed my upper panel, so I placed my notification area in the bottom
one. Now many apps show their notifications on the bottom-right
corner... and over the panel, keeping me from seeing or reaching it.
