clear install on the sony notebook pcg-fx505. only ndiswrapper 1.8 and
drivers installed. no success. lsusb shows nothing.
on my hp nx9105 the stick is running. since yesterday. lsusb shows the
stick.
big difference sony nb has the generic kernel. the hp nb uses the

It's definitely seems to be set off by entering administrator mode, but
doesn't manifest until reboot. One way to get the effect is to change

my powerbook is doing a very similar thing, once and a while with
bcm43xx loaded, the keyboard will freeze, mouse still works. When I log
out using gdm (no other way) I get those very same "NETDEV WATCHDOG:
transmit timed out" messages and the machine just prints it out over and
over, I have to man

Is the computer frozen or just the X session? Try ctrl-alt-F1 (or F2,
etc.). To get to one of the other ttys. If you can get there, then we
may be encountering similar problems (I have an A20m).
Also, ctrl-alt-backspace to restart X.
