I don't know what happened, but Firefox 2.0.0.3 (Ubuntu 7.04) said that
an error ocurred, then a dialog box opened asking for a reporting.

Upgraded to Feisty and found the DVB no longer works. I grabbed this
from /var/log/dmesg. On kernel from Ubuntu 6.10 2.6.17.11-generic I
notice you see it registers the adapter but not so with the

I was using the desktop effects, both boxes checked, I reset my

I believe the issue is that /tmp files are lost on reboot, which is why
they are in the /tmp file. This is more an issue of Firefox choosing to
save in /tmp (without using the save as and redirecting to a different
folder) than it is feisty or ubuntu. Iirc, it does the same thing in
other Os'. I
Could someone please look into this and try to reproduce it?
If it's reproducable, it should definitly get fixed before feisty gets released.

Yes, on my laptop, setitng the max_freq to 1GHz prevents overheating and
the computer does not shutdown on its own, I have left ot running for
more than a day doing CPU intensive tasks and its fine when its slowed

Under System Monitor, the Resources tab displays 99% to 100% cpu.
However, this value is false because of two reasons:
a) My cpu fan will always kick in whenever cpu usage moves past 60++%.

I've always considered blanking out /etc/network/interfaces to be a
normal configuration. The only way to get WPA support with Network
Manager is to do that.
Doing those things doesn't hurt anything if you aren't trying to do
anything really weird like bridge a connection or have 2 interfaces
Same problem for me as for rkelly, Jisao and Stefan Gründel.

I own Compal HEL 80. When I went out of hibernate my screen went crazy.
I had colour vertical lines on it. It was neither possible to switch to
another virtual console nor to kill X wirh Ctrl-Alt-BackSpacace.
