I have replicated this on 3 machines with different fstab and disk
configurations, all running Ubuntu Edgy 7.04.
The disk mounter applet shows my partitions as expected when I first log
in.

I've just had some time to install the final version of 7.04 on a
totally different machine and the bug still presists.
1) go to System-Preferences-Removable Drives and Media
2) uncheck Mount removable media when inserted
3) insert a CD
4) go to Places-Computer
5) double click on the CD-ROM

The original implementation of --with-ssl-engine doesn't seem to me to
do anything at all, because it relies on an ugly re'#define which is not
included anywhere it's needed. Even with that included in the

language?) setting the new language use as only for this session.
Once logged in, logout and then login using the same user name (possibly
any user name?) with the system default language (In my case English
I have the same problem as described by Directrix1. I have a Thinkpad X41 and
an external TFT monitor with a 1680x1050 resolution. However monitor menu
information tells me that my monitor is running 1400x1050.
I see the same artifacts. Without anti-aliasing it looks really ugly.

The nvidia driver prevents me from hibernating, switching to nv solves the
problem.
(but the nv driver doesn't work well with the two 1920x1200 screens)

I dunno if this is the right package to file the bug against but

on gutsy gibbon 7.10 tribe 2 updates till today. usplash version is
0.5.2 if that helps . On with the bug ,

From ntfs-3g upstream: this bug report is invalid.
NTFS has several file namespaces: DOS, WIN32, POSIX. Linux, as a POSIX OS,
always creates files in the POSIX namespace. Characters in the file name

taken aback, since Ubuntu Feisty Fawn used to wok well on my pc.
Now it wont even boot in live-cd mode.

Thank you for your work. However, it is not obvious to me that these
patches will fix the bug you have attached them to (which is almost
certainly fixed in Gutsy anyway).
If you want them to be applied, could you please file a Use the
gstreamer engine bug, attach the (preferably separate)
