Trying to get this card to work on a Dell Inspiron 1720. When I
followed Critchlow's steps, I get this
(1) ./configure: works OK
(2) sudo make: works first, then bonks out the following:

The problem is with Gutsy 32bit as well as 64 bit as well. For changing
the network settings like ESSID or even DNS a 'sudo
/etc/init.d/networking restart' is needed or a reboot. This is since
dapper. Would be nice if fixed in the next stable version.

Same here! Didn't know that Totem slider was a system wide setting! This
is awful...
If I click "restore settings" it puts all bars in the middle and the
image looks terrible. The controls feel strange and the Hue bar affects
nothing at all.

The ubiquity GUI might actually be 800, but this doesn't take into
effect the GNOME panels being both above and below, causing the GUI to
be too large. It should be a simple fix as long as the widgets aren't

I just saw this problem when upgrading feisty to gutsy. My problem
occurred because cfsd was not running at the time the postinst script
ran, so it hung while trying to stat64("/var/cfs"). After starting cfsd
(/etc/init.d/cfsd start), the upgrade proceeded normally and ran to
completion.

Running Ubuntu 7.04 from CD. loaded Audio CD in 2nd drive, opened sound-
juicer and when I clicked on play sound-juicer 2.16.3 closed. System is
new build using Asus M2N-E SLI motherboard, onboard sound, 4GB memory.

In the print dialog, there is no option to print only the selection.
This option is in the default gnome print dialog, so I think epiphany
should just use it.

The "list-devices" script with parameter "partition" give all DISK partition but
not USB partition !
I have installed ubuntu on ASUS EEE with external USB DRIVE.
Grub are installed one the usb drive.
The ubuntu iso (alternate - gutsy) are stored one the one and first partition
on the usb device
