After fiddling some more with network-admin I have found another
problem, the DNS tab doesn't work. If you unlock and perhaps add a DNS-
server nothing happens to resolv.conf. Even if I save my settings to a
location and apply it nothing happens.

Nobody besides me will care about this bug, honestly. It's been
submitted upstream and approved by at least one developer, so it may
come in at some point via a sync. In any case, I'm not finding time to
work on much besides Wget these days, and if I'm not going to fix it, I
doubt anyone else will.
The hard drive in brother's external IDE was once JFS, but is now
formatted NTFS. I had the exact same problem. HAL kept thinking it was
JFS.

When copying a data DVD to ISO in this case my copy of Vista for use
with virtualbox-ose. Using brasero's copy function the status i.e.
progress bar and notification icon will go blank when 2048MB has been
copied to hard disk. The process continues and the copying is
sucessfull.

I needed to have roaming mode enabled though, for VPN. I finally got a
workaround working by removing the vmxnet module, and only using
pcnet32. The rest of the vmware tools functionality (drag and drop onto
desktop) seems to still work, although it somehow seems slowe
as of updates on jan 27 2008 nautilus starts fully when run sudo , Icons
for all partitions shown on desktop including those not in fstab but no
aplication icons. RTclick menu now shows on desktop. Still segfaults
when trying to start as user, backtrace is the same as the one directly

I am experiencing this problem on both Ubuntu Gutsy and Linux Mint. The
profile editor seems to record changes to the text fields but does not
show those changes in the available drop down menu. The MP3 profile is
missing from the drop down on a fresh linux mint installation and wasn't
available
I've also got the same problem.
