I upgraded my Ubuntu operating system last week. After completing the
upgrade Rhythmbox no longer had any required codecs to play my music.
Everytime I try to play a song I get asked to search for the proper
codec to listen to that file.

I finally figured it out.
I had some option toggled on in the Download Software interface that was
referring to a CD rom. Once I toggle that off, all went well and I am
up and running now.

A variation of this bug, I found this when installing VDR plugin for
mplayer from Universe repository.
The installation waits for some user inputs such as default dir,

People of bug #140892 reported that this problem is fixed since Hardy
final release. Can you upgrade/install Hardy on your computer and
confirm if your still have this issue? Thanks for your contribution so

Since this bug has been confirmed to be fixed twice, I set the the
status to fix released but if someone can still reproduce it with latest
Hardy release, please set back the status to new and/or comment about

I'm considering marking this as a security vulnerability per the following
reasoning:
1) There are probably security vulnerabilities in Gusty that are fixed in Hardy.
2) This bug is barring fixes of those /known/ security vulnerabilities.
3) This bug is a security vulnerability, or directly causes
I have some equal trouble here.
Always when I copy a text from Firefox (with gedit too) into Writer with
numeration indent toolbox open and active on Oo.org screen my system
freezes and a forced shutdown are required.
Maybe the same trouble of this bug report with another way to reproduce
them.
