imap are using the mail settings. Yet with the upgrade to gusty the
encoding of contacts is wrong while the one of mails is correct. On

I have exactly the same problem with Hardy Final, my Mac Pro and a Wacom
Bamboo. The logs and errors look the same.

I have now got the latest version of Hardy installed, with all current updates,
User is in the scanner group, and I still have to use "sudo xsane".
Does anyone have any bright ideas as to what I can do to sort this out?

Here is an update. I just pulled the latest (3 hours ago) xf86-video-
intel-2.3-branch branch from GIT. I only pulled the 2D Xorg driver. I
compiled it and tried in on my box. It still locks the machine hard.
1. startx
2. Ctrl-Alt-Backspace.
