cycle. The patch has been available for 2 months, and the new release
including it has been around for almost as long. Xournal 0.4.1 is

If you run ubuntu in recovery mode and then select the Fix X11 option your
keyboard layout will be set as English and Generic 105-keys.
Example:
You have your keyboard set to Spanish, Generic 102 Keys. Restart your computer
and start Ubuntu in Recovery mode, and select fix X

In my admin account I unchecked the box saying "Allow access to external
drives" for user X.
I then log on as user X and plug in a thumb drive and boom, it auto-
mounts and opens.
Aren't USB thumb drives considered an external drive?

Ok I answered my own question:
I just tried myself. I removed all fonts that look like Chinese font. As
written above, I also removed the fontconfig setting with "fontconfig-voodoo -f
-r", not it looks better with Japanese and German.
I set the status back... Have a nice day!

Hi Arne Goetje,
I was happy the "fontconfig-voodoo -f -s ja_JP" worked for me first. However
then I notice that the German Umlaute: (ÜÖÄßüöä) doesn't work any more.
Is there a way to tweak the system to display German and Japanese character
correct.
I now run "fontconfig-voodoo -f -r" to remov

Well I'm running into high cpu usage and nothing beyond a black screen
in elisa, however trying glxgears I am seeing the same, no output and
high (90%+) cpu usage by glxgears, thanks for the tip, this gives me
somewhere else to look.
