I don't know when exactly it was fixed. But I can confirm - in my ubuntu
same pdf document is now correctly displayed after rotation. Maybe it
has something to do with installation adobe reader 8 (I was forced to do
that)?

Thanks for the info Stuart. All of those key mappings are already
present in hal-info for other Samsung models. All that is needed is just
another match rule added to 30-keymap-misc.fdi. Could someone with this
laptop please run lshal lshal.log and attach the log file.

Ok the difference I can see is that 3.2 adds a byte of null padding. The
changelog indicates that WinXP does that as well, but Samba 3.0 didn't
do this. So here's a patch that removes the null padding again. I can't
commit this patch just like that, but it should help pinpointing the
difference.
Any more news on this bug? Or do you need more information. If yes, what
information do you need more?

hi, I just installed kernel 2.6.27-9 and updated everythinng just had it
happen again.
i think it is a kernel panic since I've set kernel.panic = 15 in
/etc/sysctl.conf and now the system reboots after 15 seconds of caps
lock blinking.
where would i find more panic related information i tried
