The obvious work-around is to put something inside the file, since the
file currently does not hold anything, and the encryption process seems
to choak on this.

And this is totally unrelated, but while I'm kind of reviewing this code
I want to ask about a couple other things..
It kind of looks like some stuff doesn't always get freed or unref'd. Having
finalize() check:
if (priv->type != NULL)
g_free (priv->type);
if (priv->appinfo != NULL)
I can also confirm this problem in Jaunty Release Candidate.
I can also confirm it is very annoying, as a dual-booter - although (on an
unrelated topic) I love the improved Januty boot speed.

Hi Chris,
Sorry it took over a day to answer. Upgrading to Jaunty nuked my VPN, so I was
busy fixing that. Turns out vpnc was the solution for me because it allows me
to import the obfuscated passwords in our Cicso profiles.

I just installed daily lpia alternate iso (as of april 20th) + ubuntu-desktop,
and still no sound on the hp mini 1120NR.
I ported debian packages for alsa 1.0.19 to ubuntu on a ppa
(https://launchpad.net/~minichoco-team/+archive/ppa) and installed it on the
1120NR but it doesn't fix the problem
There does not seem to be a problem here. You have the calculator set
to scientific display and all the results gcalctool is showing is
correct. The values "FF81" you are getting from the Fox Calculator
is a not the mathematical representation of -127 in hexadecimal - the
correct value is -7F
I just wanted to add that I wiped my drive clean and installed the
release candidate with the ext4 file system and I now have an fstab and
everything seems to be working fine.

My /etc/fstab is blank in xubuntu 9.04 beta, others I have talked to have the
same problem.

In my case I have the impression that the problem occurs actullay before
resume/suspend/shutdown. My system freezes and after a hard reset/
(power off) I get the crash report from this bug.

I was about to report this myself. I believe the problem should be
addressed in the near future, perhaps only using a workaround for the
time at hand, as I am using a machine where there are normally two users
logged in, and this method of controlling networking becomes
inaccessible to one user or
