In the directory /usr/share/myspell/dicts there is the situation that
when a language is installed, (for example English [United Kingdom]) the
file 'en_GB.dic' is created, but also a symlink to it is created called
'en-GB.dic'
The trouble is OpenOffice looks for 'en_GB.
Oh... And my lsb_release and apt-cache info is identical to Dean's in
the report...

The same problem here too, but no where near minutes.
The "[minimal BASH-like..." message, which before the last grub-pc update would
only flash by in half a second, now stays up for eleven seconds with constant
noises from the hard drive. After the boot menu comes up everything appears to

I encountered basic256 locking up on the "t" when typing "print" or
pasting text with the "t" character.
Work around found:
Instead of launching from the main menu, open a terminal window.
At the prompt type "basic256 &" (no quotes) and close the terminal window by
typing "exit" (no quotes).

Robbie, the BootDmesg.gz that you attached seems corrupt and the
CurrentDmesg.txt doesn't show the error. Can you please run "dmesg" and
attach the output of that? It's interesting to see if you have both the
displayport error and the MTRR allocation failed or if you have just the
displayport error

Looks like this is Radeon related and affects both the radeon and radeon
HD drivers.
The key issue is

After which the X server fails. However it loads the GDM OK and will
load the xterm default succesfully.

I have attached one image file , which shows the moves which i performed
(white), Now its computer's turn to make a move where It never makes a
move(black), observed it for more than 15 min. It doesn't make any move. Hope

AMD64, ATI x1250. Blank screen on restart, no response on
Ctrl/Alt/F[0-9], no response to Ctrl/Alt/Del. Did respond to pressing
the Power button, and powered off.
Although sounds bad, this is actually an improvement over the previous
versions -- machine would not respond at all.

After looking at the affected files in Easy Tag, they all seem to have the
following problems:
Year is 2005-1-, before it was just 2005
Total Tracks is 01 or 02, before it was accurate
Before they did not have a picture, now they have a picture but it can't be
viewed
The file size is approximate
