During the CLC install, I think the user is prompted for eucalyptus
/cloud-address (if it exists), and if the user leaves it blank (and none

It actually seems, that I have the cursor visible on the login screen.
The cursor exists until the short screen blank which happens after
doing login. After that, when the user desktop appears I can get get the
cursor back using the detect-display trick.

I upgraded to Karmic from Jaunty. Upgrade was smooth, but immediately
after restart Karmic froze after login in about a minute. Serach on
forum yielded following workarounds

sons old PC - it has a nvidia GeForce2 MX/MX 400 with a Viewsonic PS17
CRT monitor. When I installed UNR it correctly installed the proprietary
nvidia drivers, but it couldn't autodetect the old monitor and it came

power manager icon dissapear (if I remember this propertly, now I use
AWN notification applet instead gnome-panel), but after disable gnome-
power notifications issue was gone.

This seems to be indeed a problem with the Spanish Firefox language
packs. I could also confirm it.
I've done two quick tests:
* Catalan: on the Lucid desktop I use daily FF translations are fine. Also when
testing a new installation with network (Catalan language packs are not in the
