I have just done the following to the ambience theme:
$ sudo gedit /usr/share/themes/Ambience/gtk-2.0/gtkrc
edit line 11 & 12 to
xthickness = 0
ythickness = 0
safe and close.
reload the theme by clicking on some other and than on ambience again.

Well, apparently besides infinite-looping it was leaking memory, so by
now it has OOM'd X, which does not exactly help gathering any further
data beyond the full backtraces on that unless this happens again. Next
time should probably SIGSTOP it to prevent it from dying to memory

I encountered the same problem and this patch seems to fix it. It looks
like current_entry could be NULL in some malformed file condition.

This is absolutely a bad idea. Not only is the button gone, but I prefer the
location string, rather than these silly little little drive buttons and
you can't toggle anymore either! If I went to the location path string, and
then wanted to get back... I can't!!

2. Если да, то думаю, что нужно сделать upstream bug report и приложить
тривиальный патч. Обязательно посмотрев как сделано в apt-get. (может быть
проблема в кодировке исходников)
