Ok I create a pre-stop script in /etc/init/libvirt-bin.conf
and it is running the script however its not waiting for the script to
complete.Everything shutsdown extremely fast in about 3 seconds and I am

Ok so I came up with a workaround that seems to be working for me. The
guests shutdown completely. Not sure what this breaks if anything.
There still needs to be a permanent fix for this bug but here is what I
did.
(1)
Edit /etc/init/libvirt-bin.conf
I added this under the pre-start script
Confirmed:
- installed samba from lucid, then removed the recommended samba-common-bin.
- rebooted; nmbd did not start up.
- ran 'sudo start nmbd', job fails to start.
- installed samba from lucid-proposed; this pulled in samba-common-bin
automatically, and nmbd is now running.

Thank you for the bios fix idea. I like the superglue on the wireless

It's the same issue with 6to4 tunnel as well. I was wondering why my
applications don't use ipv6 and I also found that getaddinfo() is
returning ipv4 addresses before ipv6. So my 6to4 tunnel is useless

Actually that's a good point, I think I am using the proprietary driver so
it might be bug 616023.
Yep, I've read the comments and made some changes to the xorg.conf which
restored the functionality of my pc.

Are you using the proprietary
mplayer rc4, which is included in both maverick and the motumedia PPA
for lucid, fixes this issue.

Easy fix meanwhile (temporary one) is to comment lines 12 and 13 of
/usr/lib/python2.6/popen2.py
This at least won't confuse the sieve protocol readers so much. And yes,
it's not a real fix.

It took me a while to figure out why my system froze for no apparent
reason, until I found this bug. In my case, the system doesn't always
freeze when I insert a DVD, but it happens most of the time. I tried
turning on the SATA compatibility mode in my BIOS, but it didn't help.

I get the same error, only on a normal ASP.Net application when trying
to a simple debug ASP.NET page.
Steps to reproduce:
1) Startup project with ASP.Net debugging without any breakpoints defined
2) Switch back to monodevelop and try to set a breakpoint on a line of code
