Problem is an invalid entry in hostname. You should edit /etc/postfix/main.cf and set a valid hostname entry then, after that reboot postfix. However, this issue is experimented for several users, so marking that as bug because there should be a problem in configuration, setting an invalid hostname there by default. ** Changed in: postfix (Ubuntu) Status: New = Confirmed ** Changed in: postfix (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided = Medium -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Server Team, which is subscribed to postfix in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/797779 Title: package bsd-mailx 8.1.2-0.20100314cvs-1 failed to install/upgrade: προβλήματα εξάρτησης - αφήνεται μη ρυθμισμένο To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/postfix/+bug/797779/+subscriptions -- Ubuntu-server-bugs mailing list Ubuntu-server-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com Modify settings or unsubscribe at: https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-server-bugs

Twonky was working for several weeks prior to the update errors. The music files I am attempting to stream are located on the 2nd internal hard drive. I also attempted to change the way my 2nd internal hard drive is mounted. From mounting when a user clicked on it (me) in Home folder to mounting at system boot (all users, all the time available). I still have not got that figured out. The update problem seemed started occurring after I tried changing the hard drive mount. I backed out of everything I did here. I'm thinking I need to re-install Ubuntu 12.04. Unfortunately I'm better at Windows than Linux, this seems way over my head to debug. Any additional ideas? When PEAR installed an extension it would add the file to /etc/php5/conf.d/ and so would be avaliable regardless of how you ran php (cli, cgi, fpm). With PHP 5.5 there no longer is a /etc/php5/conf.d/ directory, modules are still installed into /etc/php5/mods-available/ but are directly symlinked into the flavor conf.d directory. When PEAR installs a module it either fails to create the ini file if the directory does not exist, or if you create the directory it will create the ini fine but not symlink it into the php flavors. I would expect either PHP 5.5. to use the old directory structure so that PEAR modules are loaded as expected, or for PEAR to create the base conf.d directory and symlink its own inis into the php flavors. ** Affects: php5 (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Server Team, which is subscribed to php5 in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1238160 Title: pear puts config in wrong directory To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/php5/+bug/1238160/+subscriptions -- Ubuntu-server-bugs mailing list Ubuntu-server-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com Modify settings or unsubscribe at: https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-server-bugs

[Bug 1210253] Re: With Havana 2 installed, Launching horizon UI results in the error NameError: name 'Dashboard' is not defined
Just tested with a fresh system and fresh package installation from the Cloud Archive Havana proposed pocket. Installed horizon 1:2013.2~rc1-0ubuntu2~cloud0 (havana release candidate) and everything is working fine. Steps to do minimal test: apt-get install openstack-dashboard edit /etc/openstack-dashboard/local_settings.py, update OPENSTACK_HOST to point to your keystone hostname. restart apache2, surf to http://$host/horizon, login. [Bug 1236965] Re: pulseaudio does not recognize internal speakers [P180HMx, Realtek ALC892, Speaker, Internal] volume slider problem
Going through the comments, I hope I don't miss anything: I removed the -v argswitch from your test; not supported on my box. Sorry, confused speaker-test with aplay. Aplay has a -v switch that can give some debug information. 1. both in stereo and surround profiles I don't understand what this means. Where do I specify my audio-profile? There should be a way to select profile - in Gnome sound settings it's a combobox called Mode:, in pavucontrol it's on the configuration tab. However, now looking at your original PulseList.txt, the surround profile does not even show up, so we need to look at that first. Without that surround profile, anything that goes through pulseaudio will be stereo only. 2. In future tests, would pulseaudio -k suffice, rather than a full reboot? Yes. Just make sure pulseaudio actually does restart. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1236965 Title: pulseaudio does not recognize internal speakers [P180HMx, Realtek ALC892, Speaker, Internal] volume slider problem To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/alsa-driver/+bug/1236965/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

On the 1st occurrence absolutely nothing was in the logs, on the 2nd occurrence there was some NFS hang messages, when system comes back up I will check and post any logging information gleaned. ** Affects: linux (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: Incomplete -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1237794 Title: hard lockup on filserver To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/1237794/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

[Bug 1233988] Re: With Mir enabled: maliit-server crashed with SIGABRT in __gnu_cxx::__verbose_terminate_handler(), thrown from mir::client::DisplayConfiguration::copy_to_client()
Yep, the stack trace in comment #3 seems to show MirConnection::valid_connections is empty. So platform-api and/or Maliit is passing an invalid MirConnection pointer. Although the stack trace also shows other globals uninitialized, which supports Alan's theory of comment #11. ** Changed in: mir Status: Confirmed = Invalid -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1233988 Title: With Mir enabled: maliit-server crashed with SIGABRT in __gnu_cxx::__verbose_terminate_handler(), thrown from mir::client::DisplayConfiguration::copy_to_client() To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/mir/+bug/1233988/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

[Bug 1237306] Re: lightdm + LDAP login intermitent fail
Dear Robert, Thank you for you answer. The text login works 100% of the time. Your question about the local user is interesting. The home directory is created at the first login, but my problem arises even if the directory exists. There is no error in /var/log/auth.log My intuition is that lightdm caches the user information before it is available, because after one User 'X' authorized, but no account of that name exists, the only solution to make it work is to restart lightdm. Disabling nscd does not fix the problem. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1237306 Title: lightdm + LDAP login intermitent fail To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/lightdm/+bug/1237306/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
