[Bug 1363366] [NEW] DNSSEC for dnsmasq
Public bug reported: This is a wishlist item. I'd like to use DNSSEC for dnsmasq out of the box. Currently support for DNSSEC appears to be disabled at compile time: if I add dnssec options to the dnsmasq.conf, it doesn't accept the configuration. I'm using Ubuntu Trusty. As a workaround, I currently configured DNSSEC to proxy via upstream DNS with the proxy-dnssec option -- but this is insecure. ** Affects: dnsmasq (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Description changed: This is a wishlist item. [Bug 1301623] Re: unity freezes when moving windows among workspaces
I have the same problem. It just started out of the blue a few weeks ago. I assume after some update as I regularly accept updates. Ubuntu 14.04 LTS Intel Core i5-3320M CPU on Lenovo Thinkpad T430s 64-bit. Only way out seemed to be hard reboot, until I was shown a temporary fix: cntrl alt F1 to get to a terminal log in with username and password unity --replace enter cntrl alt f7 to return to the desktop but top menu bar did not return had to shut down from the terminal sudo shutdown -h now -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1301623 Title: unity freezes when moving windows among workspaces To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/unity/+bug/1301623/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

[Bug 1362660] Re: [IBM 184348M] suspend/resume failure
Initial experimentation - only the first suspend works. The second time, it suspends and then un-suspends immediately. The third time, it blanks the screen and flashes the sleep light until I run out of patience and do a hard shutdown. I don't know if the attached log was attached initially, but it may have more info now. ** Attachment added: pm-powersave.log https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/1362660/+attachment/4190728/+files/pm-powersave.log -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1362660 Title: [IBM 184348M] suspend/resume failure To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/1362660/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

[Bug 1363313] Re: mpt2sas not loaded with LSISAS2008 card in trusty 14.04.1
Paul Johnson, thank you for reporting this and helping make Ubuntu better. Could you please test the latest upstream kernel available from the very top line at the top of the page (not the daily folder) following https://wiki.ubuntu.com/KernelMainlineBuilds ? It will allow additional upstream developers to examine the issue. Once you've tested the upstream kernel, please comment on which kernel version specifically you tested. If this bug is fixed in the mainline kernel, please add the following tags: kernel-fixed-upstream kernel-fixed-upstream-VERSION-NUMBER where VERSION-NUMBER is the version number of the kernel you tested exactly shown as: kernel-fixed-upstream-3.17-rc2 This can be done by clicking on the yellow circle with a black pencil icon next to the word Tags located at the bottom of the bug description. If the mainline kernel does not fix this bug, please add the following tags: kernel-bug-exists-upstream kernel-bug-exists-upstream-VERSION-NUMBER Once testing of the upstream kernel is complete, please mark this bug's Status as Confirmed. Please let us know your results. [Bug 1363378] [NEW] Meter background images wrong for BBC and EBU meter types
Public bug reported: Version 0.4.1-3 amd64 The background images are wrong for the BBC and EBU meter types. [Bug 1306500] Re: some keys stopped working: left right arrows, backspace
I am also suffering from this issue (both the inability to use the delete key, and occasional very slow save times). The ibus exit trick works for me, but I also just found another workaround which you can do without exiting ibus: After pressing the delete key (once or multiple times) in Gnucash, press control-Space (this is the default keyboard shortcut in the ibus preferences to select the next input method). Unless you have set up multiple input methods in ibus, it won't actually switch anything, but it does seem to have the effect of flushing the buffer, so the delete action then gets executed. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1306500 Title: some keys stopped working: left right arrows, backspace To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/gnucash/+bug/1306500/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

[Bug 883459]
KMail 4.13.3 Fedora 20 (testing and unstable repos in use) I had the problem where a spam filter would endlessly duplicate emails. I quickly removed the spam filter and things settled down. The problem returns when I delete or move an email. The email will move to the detination folder, only to shortly reappear, disabled and not selectable, in the original folder. I have two email accounts configured, GMail and the my employer's (ms exchange server). The problem occurs almost exclussively with my employer's account. Emails duplicate in the GMail spam folder, curiously taking several minutes to show up instead of almost immediately. I don't see akonadi being at fault. Running akonadictl fsck and vacuum show no errors, and don't affect the problem. Deleteing the Adkonadi database and starting over didn't help either. Yet, I can clear the duplicates by using any other mail client and synching each folder individually. To make a SWAG (stupid wild ass guess), I'd look for something in LDAP usage. Sorry to report a problem and not offer help. [Bug 1363387] [NEW] Hidden Unity toolbar still receives mouse clicks when fullscreen applications are unfocused in multihead environments
Public bug reported: This is a follow up to bug #748539 which fixed the issue where the Unity toolbar was still displaying on top of fullscreen applications if they were unfocused. It is correctly hidden, but it seems like the toolbar still receives mouse clicks. When I click in the region where the Unity toolbar should be if it wasn't hidden, instead of clicking in the fullscreen app, it registers as a mouse click on the toolbar. For example: 1.) Open up Chrome and load any stream on Twitch.tv. Put Chrome on the first monitor and fullscreen it. 2.) Focus on any application on the second monitor. 3.) Without changing focus, move mouse cursor back into first monitor and try to click the Play/Pause button in Twitch. Instead of playing or pausing, it launches the Trash. [Bug 1335409] Re: [Acer Aspire V3-571G] Mousepad stopped working
This policy of having bugs expire just because they are not reported on the latest bios is ridiculous and must be changed. Machines are out there with non updated BIOSes, and Linux must support them. Other OSes support them. The probability that a given bug will disappear by updating the BIOS are close to zero, and even if that is the case, that doesn't mean that the bug is CAUSED by a bug in the BIOS. The default assumption should be that the bug is in the sotware, unless there a proof of the contrary, because that's what happens in 99.99% of cases. Plus, a decent (and safe) way of updating the BIOS from within Ubuntu without relying on booting from other OSes is not available. Until such a thing is provided, you can't expect Ubuntu users to update their BIOS. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1335409 Title: [Acer Aspire V3-571G] Mousepad stopped working To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/1335409/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
