Just upgraded to 15.10. Booting up with nvidia driver directly gives
glxgears running at expected result. Installing bumblebee and running
optimus glxgears gives /var/log/system entry and no expected result.

Since "dell-smm-hwmon" seems to be an alias of the i8k module, and based
on the solution from the #100121 of the kernel bug tracker, blacklist
"dell-smm-hwmon" resolved the issue at least on my Dell Studio XPS 8000.
I tried many hard reboots to confirm this.

Here my feedback from installing silo 10 as per bug #1462664. I have
been walking to town today and did not notice any lag for the time i was
in town. Normally i am experiencing some hangs of more than 1 min before
i can get a working phone. Today i checked repeatedly my phone and it

Gpu hang unexpected
To manage notifications about this bug go to:
$sudo apt-get install wine should work. Have you tried sudo apt-get
update followed by sudo apt-get dist-upgrade to make sure your version
of wily really is completely up to date. Do that first, then try
installing wine without any version numbers. I've had wine working in
wily for months now.
Driver from proposed working fine for me on a netbook with Intel and AMD
Radeon 6600M gpus.
