I made a fresh install of 14.04 on a Dell XPS-8900 there is about two or three
month.
The driver was missing, and I have installed manually a driver. It has worked,
but with an ennoying problem.
Each time a new Linux version is updated and then the computer is
reboot,
@miroslav, from the screenshot it seems that the access to the camera
sensor has been denied to the camera app.

fixed by reinstalling. however, my touchpad does not work anymore, except for
the buttons (it doesn't move the cursor, like, at all...).

Hi,
I only modified the /etc/modprobe.d/alsa-base.conf file adding this
lines at the end:
options snd-hda-intel power_save=0
options snd-hda-intel power_save_controller=N
options snd-hda-intel model=basic
options snd-hda-intel single_cmd=1

This seems to be fixed now (using xenial on desktop and phone). Can
anyone else confirm?
Maybe dandrader/greyback have some idea of when/where a fix landed?
