[Bug 1769247] Re: xfce4-display-settings "Primary display" option does not work properly
The issue seems like it's really not xfce4-display-settings fault, but xfce4-panel and xfdesktop that do not respect the monitor chosen as the primary one. Using Xubuntu 18.10, if I chose the Primary Monitor as the bottom monitor the desktop icons are partially hidden under the panel and the panel is still at the topmost monitor, even if I chose the bottom monitor as the Primary. I just tested this, and all videos I tested are being shown with the correct proportions now. And Thunar was able to show thumbnails to all videos unless WMV videos. After install gstreamer1.0-plugins-ugly the WMV videos had thumbnails and worked properly, with their proportions right. NOTE: the Parole window that asks to install the codecs did not work, I had to install the package gstreamer1.0-plugins-ugly manually with apt. Same bug affects me on dell Latitude E7450 on freshly installed Bionic 18.04.1. Kernel 4.15.0-29-generic. - After suspend/resume newly inserted USB devices are not detected and not listed by lsusb. - Repeating suspend/resume with the device still inserted in the port solves the problem. At this point devices can be remove and inserted again and everything works as supposed. then the /var/log/magnum-api.log contains a warning

"keystone_authtoken" is deprecated for removal (The auth_uri option is
deprecated in favor of www_authenticate_uri and will be removed in the S
release.). Its value may be silently ignored in the future.
