I have been bitten by the same bug.
In my case the disk drive started life with the installation of Fedora
(although the the computer supplier had used some version of Windows on
the disk for testing, which was removed before the computer was supplied
to me). I had no problems using the disk

Before upgrading to Ubuntu 7.04, my networked HP Officejet 7200 worked
perfectly both as a printer and scanner. Have tried all therapies
recommended on this site and on other Ubuntu boards to no effect. As
root, issued the command xsane plus the fax URI and xsane simply
hangs. Nothing wrong

I'm running evolution against an exchange server. When I subscribe to
my group's calendar under Public Folders, it doesn't show up (under Mail
or under Calendars). I think the problem is that it has the same name
as my Exchange
I just figured out a workaround to this, which is to add a new calendar.
For type, select your exchange account. For location, select the
shared calendar (which must be in your favorites/subscribed).
Still, calendars without overlapping names just show up automatically.

This seems to be much improved with the latest gutsy updates. I can
still get it to crash, but the crash is a bit different. See bug

I sold a load-balancing scheme to a client. When I moved my scripts
over from my testing (SuSE with 2.6.16.13 kernel) to client production
(Feisty, canned), this chomped at my posterior. Is -j CONNMARK
considered unstable? There seems to be evidenced of topns of folks
using it for quite a while
Is anyone still seeing this in current releases (feisty or gutsy)?
Answers either way would be helpful. Feisty was much improved for this
sort of evolution stuff, in my experience.

Not sure why this is happening, I'm not seeing it. Can you try using
gconf-editor and manually edit the key /desktop/gnome/font_rendering/dpi
and make sure it's type is Float and it's value is 96.0. Then restart
X (ctrl-alt-delete).
Also verify the file
I believe this bug is due to the fact that the DPI on your system did not get
set correctly. Your screenshots validate this (the fonts are quite big). This
was a know bug that should be fixed now. You test by manually setting the
following gconf key and restarting:

netbook-remix.archive.canonical.com archive was updated in January
with security updates. We plan to update it again sometime in March to
coincide with the next major UNR update. An updated l-u-m will be part of that
update and has an even newer version of the Pouslbo driver than
referenced here,
I agree that we want to avoid using scrollbars if there is an
alternative. Paul, our patch for Hardy modified the layout of the
devices tab to move the Default Mixer Tracks section to the right side
of the dialog so it fit nicely without scrollbars. This was done in the
glade file. I believe in

my comments are similar to bug #28805 - I agree that just adding
scrollbars is not a preferred solution. I believe the default layout
could be changed to be more horizontal by adding another column(s) on
the right side and moving approprite fields to the new columns. i.e.
Moving Instant Messaging'
This bug seems to be the same, roughly, as this bug in the Debian bug
