Not sure why this is happening, I'm not seeing it. Can you try using
gconf-editor and manually edit the key /desktop/gnome/font_rendering/dpi
and make sure it's type is Float and it's value is 96.0. Then restart
X (ctrl-alt-delete).

I believe this bug is due to the fact that the DPI on your system did not get
set correctly. Your screenshots validate this (the fonts are quite big). This
was a know bug that should be fixed now. You test by manually setting the

with security updates. We plan to update it again sometime in March to
coincide with the next major UNR update. An updated l-u-m will be part of that
update and has an even newer version of the Pouslbo driver than

I agree that we want to avoid using scrollbars if there is an
alternative. Paul, our patch for Hardy modified the layout of the
devices tab to move the Default Mixer Tracks section to the right side
of the dialog so it fit nicely without scrollbars. This was done in the

my comments are similar to bug #28805 - I agree that just adding

after further investigation, this is a bug with netbook-launcher, not
webfav. The problem is netbook-launcher is trying to save the favicon in
a directory that does not exist and that is failing.

I think this bug description should change. I appears that systray
whitelist is not honored regardless of the value (i.e. not just 'all'
not working). There seems to be no way to get any systray icons to
appear. I've added skype and xchat to gconf and it does not work.
I would argue this bug is

on Jaunty, using desktop-switcher 0.4.0-0ubuntu1:
switching to classic mode does not kill netbook-launcher (ps reveals it's still
running even if it is not displayed).
It also does not restart netbook-launcher when switching back.

do automounting. netbook-launcher should implement automounting of
drives when they are inserted.
