I recreated my google account (on Trusty) from online accounts. Even
though it, now, works with Evolution, it still fails with Syncevolution.
For example, running
SYNCEVOLUTION_DEBUG=1 syncevolution --print-databases --daemon=no
loglevel=2 backend=carddav username=uoa:3,google-contact
Isn't this a gtk-theme issue? It should be fixed in ubuntu-themes than
blacklisting it from using overlay scrollbar.
The issue is visible with other apps like baobab, gnome-tweak-tool..etc.
We can't blacklist each of them.

I tried with "v3.18.5-vivid" from kernel mainline ppa
(http://kernel.ubuntu.com/~kernel-ppa/mainline/v3.18.5-vivid/).
Fortunately, I could NOT reproduce the freeze with it. (Although it has
some other problems like high fan speed, wlan issue..etc).

Yes, for file-roller app (archive manager) the issue is something
similar for both Unity & Flashback
On Unity:
1. Global menubar shows traditional horizontal menubar
2. it also export some portion of gtk header-bar menu along with traditional
menubar
3. Some other portion of gtk header-
On Utopic these patches doesn't seem to work on other desktop session
(which also uses indicator-appmenu), i.e. gnome-flashback.
If I install indicator-applet-appmenu & add it to gnome-panel, I have
noticed that most of the default apps doesn't export/move menubar to
panel properly.

When I log out from Unity session (or any other desktop session) Lightdm
flashes twice (as if it reloads itself twice) & sets the brightness to

a patch for 3.8 where latest stable version is 3.12. Why on earth is

Has this fix really landed on 13.10?
If I add a online calendar in evolution(for example RTM events public
ical file) it shows wrong date & time in indicator-datetime even though
it shows correct time in evolution. Evolution uses system timezone &
ical file uses same time-zone as system-time zone.
Also after more testing I found out that, it doesn't show calendar color
or clock icon for online calendars added to evolution. In saucy, for
online calendars, it uses evolution calendar color for all events.

for gtk-headerbar. As a result applications using gtk-headerbar look

bar (When it is not maximized). As new Unity window decorator uses same
title-bar foreground color for both normal & maximized windows, window
title on unity-panel is not properly visible as it becomes dar

It doesn't show today's all-day events as well. If I click on a selected
day(which is today), in saucy, it shows:
1. (All) all-day events for today
2. All Past events (with time) than current time (for today)
3. Future Events with time
4. Future all-day events.
in trusty, it shows:
1. Future all
Along with it doesn't show all events (Bug #1293646), it doesn't fire
any alarm in evolution. In saucy, it used to show evolution popup
window(& notification bubble) where users can snooze or dismiss it.
If I manually create a event in past notification bubble appears, but
there is still no evolut
