[Bug 1911860] Re: coturn does not start after update of Jan 13 '21 (20.04.1 LTS)

2021-06-02 Thread Luis Felipe
Same output in two Ubuntu server 20.04:

...
0: Trying to bind fd 46 to <127.0.0.1:3478>: errno=98
0: Cannot bind TLS/TCP listener socket to addr 127.0.0.1:3478
0: Trying to bind TLS/TCP listener socket to addr 127.0.0.1:3478, again...
etc..

I have tried AmbientCapabilities=CAP_NET_BIND_SERVICE but don't work

If any information on my part could be useful, I am available.

2013-12-01 Thread Luis Felipe Marzagao
Christopher: I can't teel how it impacts Ubuntu. Sometimes the computer
does not start. Stays in black screen and I have to force reboot. But I
can't be sure if it has something to do with this bug report. Also, I
have a minor sound problem as described here:

Other than that, the system works fine. I can't tell if this bug report
has anything to do with the crashing or sound problem.

[Bug 1170303] Re: keyboard stops working after some minutes if openjdk-7 (or oracle-7/8) is used below icewm [e.g. netbeans, freemind]

2013-07-07 Thread Luis Felipe Abad
This is a known bug with IceWM and other Window Managers. The discussion about
this bug can be found at http://sourceforge.net/p/icewm/bugs/892/
The problem appears when you switch from the Java 7 window to another, or
switch to another desktop. Once the Java 7 window loses it's focus, it wont
regain it. The provisional solution is to minimize and then restore/maximize
the Java 7 window. Then you can use text fields and keyboard input as normal,
until you switch windows again.
There is a patch that works and has been integrated into the main IceWM tree.
You can see this bug was fixed in 1.3.8 by reading the changelog:
http://icewm.cvs.sourceforge.net/viewvc/icewm/icewm-1.2/CHANGES?view=markuppathrev=icewm-1-3-BRANCH
Unfortunately, there's no release (or stable release) of this package version I
can find. I'm also a little annoyed by the bug, but I also understand that
Debian package maintainers have their hands full most of the time. I would like
to know how to compile my own icewm binary to replace the one shipped in deb
form. If you can do that yourself, maybe you could try to do it and test if
that works for you? If/When you do it, could you share your results?

[Bug 1175095] Re: No sound Ubuntu 13.04

2013-05-27 Thread Luis Felipe Marzagao
*** This bug is a duplicate of bug 1180925 ***
https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1180925

Daniel, thank you a lot for the tip. Indeed, when I entered alsamixer,
it showed two playback devices, S/PDIF and S/PDIF 16.

The first on was showing a square wih '00' inside and the second was
showing 'MM' inside (see attached screenshot).

It always happen if you liveboot from ubuntu or do a fresh intall. (Same
thing does not happen with Linux Mint, which is strange - both devices
always come unmuted by default).

After a little struggle, I discovered that pressing 'm' on the keyboard
would change the status from 'MM' to '00' on the second playback device.
Then I started having sound. :)

So, apparently, it seems the problem is solved. It has worked with 13.04
default kernel and with the latest one from the default repos as of now
(3.8.0-19 #30), as long as I manually unmute the S/PDIF 16 after
installing Ubuntu.

But if I turn the computer off. When I turn it on again, although the
S/PDIF 16 comes unmuted, I must press the volume key on the monitor
(it's a LG All in one computer) to get the sound working. If I don't
press the volume key, there's no sound at all from the speakers.

On Windows 8 (that unfortunatelly came installed), it works without
having to press the volume key after turning the computer on.

Maybe the fact the S/PDIF 16 playback gets muted by default has
something to do with this 'volume key' issue. I don't know and any help
debugging it would be mostly appreciated.

Thanks a lot.

[Bug 1175095] Re: No sound Ubuntu 13.04

2013-05-26 Thread Luis Felipe Marzagao
*** This bug is a duplicate of bug 1180925 ***
https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1180925

Hello, dear friends:

Same thing here with the exact same audio card and Ubuntu 13.04.

00:1b.0 Audio device: Intel Corporation 7 Series/C210 Series Chipset
Family High Definition Audio Controller (rev 04)

I don't think it's a duplicate of those bug reports, because I don't see
the reported bug messages in my dmesg.

In fact, the sound card seems to be detected just fine. But in the sound
preferences I only get the S/PDIF (internal audio) and not the expected
Built-in Audio (Digital Stereo IEC958). Thus, I don't get sound neither
from the headphones nor the built-in speakers.

If I live boot with Linux Mint 13, sound works right out of the box.

I already tested my Ubuntu 13.04 with the main line kernel and the oem-
audio-hda-daily-dkms_0.201305250346~raring1_all.deb, but no success.

Booting with Ubuntu 12.04 did not work either.

Please, find attached the result of alsa-info.sh script.

If there's any way of providing more info, please, give me directions.

Thanks.

[Bug 571506] Re: Network-manager connects but no traffic until process restart

2010-09-19 Thread Luis Felipe Marzagao
Hello, the problem seemed to be with my router (3com). I have already
replaced it and the issue is gone. Now I have a dlink and everything
seems to be working as expected. The previous router (3com) is gone, so
I can't make the tests with it anymore and provide the output you have
requested. Anyway, I don't think it's something with NM, so this bug
should be closed. Thanks

[Bug 571506] [NEW] Network-manager connects but no traffic until process restart

2010-04-28 Thread Luis Felipe Marzagao
Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: network-manager

Ubuntu 10.04 beta with latest updates as of 2010-04-28.

Network-manager works just fine, except after computer startup.

It seems to connect to my router (wireless connection), I have an IP
address and everything seems normal.

However, I can't perform any traffic, no even ping my router, until I do
a restart network-manager or /etc/init.d/network-manger restart.
After restarting network-manager, then it works just fine. No other
commands or configuration needed. Just restart network-manager.

What happens: Network-manager does not let my wireless connection work
(no network traffic happens) when I turn on my notebook; It only works
after restarting network-manager (or after disabling and enabling
network with right-click on NM mini-app on the top right).

Expected result: It should work at first, no restarting the process
needed.

How reproducible: Always.

[Bug 512609] Re: Width and height don't match in Rectangle and Selection tools

2010-01-26 Thread Luis Felipe López Acevedo
Hi Alex.

I think changing the width of the stroke shouldn't affect the size you
give to the rectangle (or any other object). In case of increasing the
stroke width, the rectangle should mantain its original size and the
stroke should grow inwards.

2010-01-25 Thread Luis Felipe López Acevedo
Public bug reported:

Inkscape 0.46-5ubuntu4

If I create a rectangle of, for example, 100 px width and 100 px height,
and then select it with the selection tool, the width and height fields
show the original values increased by 1 pixel (see the attached images).

[Bug 116207] Re: [i945] Macbook's Tv out doesn't work (i945)

2009-06-15 Thread Luis Felipe Strano Moraes
I can confirm that this still happens to me (running jaunty on a macbook
1st gen). I'm using the Stable Updates PPA from Ubuntu-X team. I've also
tested the Use VGA edid info for TV detect on MacBook patch that is
attached on the upstream bug, but it did not work. I'm attaching a
tarball with the requested Xorg.0.log and also the outputs of xrandr
without an adaptor plugged in, with an adaptor plugged in and with the
patch mentioned above as well. I'm really interested in helping solve
this, so if there is any more information or tests needed, please tell
me. I can also upgrade to the bleeding edge PPA if you guys think that
would help.

** Attachment added: X log and xrandr outputs from jaunty
   http://launchpadlibrarian.net/27973227/xorg.tar.gz

** Changed in: xserver-xorg-video-intel (Ubuntu)
   Status: Invalid = Confirmed

[Bug 375457] Re: Incorrect translation in South-American Spanish for Video folder

2009-05-14 Thread Luis Felipe López Acevedo
With all due respect, the word «vídeo» is a correct translation if you
were translating for Spain only, and that's not the case for Ubuntu
Spanish Translators. I've always thought that that translation is
partial.

Also, have in mind that RAE is becoming panhispanic, but it is not
panhispanic yet. You can find entries there that include meanings taken
from Spain only.

[Bug 375457] Re: Incorrect translation in South-American Spanish for Video folder

2009-05-14 Thread Luis Felipe López Acevedo
I know GNOME and Ubuntu Spanish Translators are translating as neutrally
as possible so that those translations can be used in all Spanish
speaking countries. And that is the reason why I don't understand the
use of vídeo instead of video.

I haven't found any discussions in the lists of these teams that suggest
that there is an agreement to use vídeo as the recommended translation
for the English video.

I'm not saying that RAE has no meanings used in other Spanish speaking
countries, I'm saying the dictionary is in the process to include them,
so there are many entries that don't do that yet. For this reason I
think we should not judge the correctness of a translation based only in
what RAE says.

I'm sorry to be a pain in the neck but I don't understand. It's more the
quantity of Spanish speaking countries that use video instead of
vídeo.

[Bug 163256] ubuntu doesn't recognises usb devices plugged after boot

2007-11-16 Thread Luis Felipe Sánchez Gudenschwager
Public bug reported:

Hi, it's my first publishing in launchpad :(

The story it's simple, if I plug my pendrive, iPod or another USB
device, before ubuntu boots completely it's recognized :) but if I
umount or unplug the device, and plug it again I can't mount it again, i
have to restart my computer :(, the unique exeption to the rule is a usb
mouse, i doesn't work if i plug it after or before ubuntu boots

when i do a # lsusb or $ lsusb the console shows nothing and i can't
write a new command because lsusb stays open and i have to open a new
console.

and my card reader doesn't works, i had seen some bugs here before and i
think that when i removed bluez-utils it erased some usb thing that make
the usb works weird, i had to remove bluez-utils because at the boot i
can't boot normally because the computer hangs when it says Starting
Bluetooth Services i had to press CTRL+ALT+F2, log in and write startx
to start my session, some people at the Starting Bluetooth Services
bug, says that the card reader must be unplugged to boot properly but i
can't open my computer to unplug the card reader every time I turn on
the computer :(

this is dmesg when i plugged the iPod after the boot, these lines are written
when i plug the iPod
[ 277.305960] usb 1-1: new full speed USB device using uhci_hcd and address 2
[ 277.509067] usb 1-1: configuration #1 chosen from 1 choice

and the iPod starts charging and says Don't disconnect like when it's
connected to another computer normally

I use Ubuntu Gutsy, and when i used to use Ubuntu Feisty, the iPod said
Don't disconnect for one second and later the ipod showed it's
principal menu, like when it's unplugged

sorry for my bad english, I speak spanish :)

please help me I spent so much time searching at google for ananswer :(
