Just loaded Lucid Beta 2, which cannot boot with standard parameters. It
ends in a screen with no text, some coloured background and a white
square in the middle of the screen. Mouse works, keyboard works, but the
only thing it can do for the user is to go to a console, such as via
CTRL+ALT+F2,
I cannot test this further, since I need this machine for production, so
cannot install Lucid Beta 2 and for instance try the mainline kernel.
However, there has been so widespread unhappiness since Xorg server 1.6,
which coincided with Jaunty, that this is not a Lucid problem

I tried the disk in other machines and it worked fine. However, no one

There is a lot of related reports - recent comments on this

But nothing is apparently done to fix it - not even a recognition or

Yes, Blueman is definitely the answer in Jaunty.
All things seem to work for me - browsing, transferring files to phone
and also Wamma/Gammu phone access works when paired by Blueman.

Using Jaunty with Blueman from the PPA - browsing, copying, pasting etc.
on a phone via Nautilus works just fine!
No more Operation not supported by backend. Just works.
It did not work in Intrepid w/Blueman PPA.
