This is also a security bug. You could be writing a password when new
windows focuses and you could by mistake write part of your password in

There isn't many wacom users out there. I have this problem with acecad
tablet (acecad drivers or wacom drives) and it seems to affect all types
of tablets (based on the bug reports I found). Kernel: 2.6-32-22-generic

Adter update to 12.04 I have no wallpaper - instead everything that
moves above the wallpaper leaves a trace on the background - it's not
refreshing. I had the problem in 11.10 but there it was fixed by using
ppa with newer intel drivers, I assumed it will be fixed in 12.04
PS. strace of course shows it's because of fonts.

Such long load times make Inkscape unusable for work when you have a lot
of files to look through or modify. There should be an option to fix it
- and not by deleting fonts. For example Inkscape should load fonts in
the background - and only show those that are already loaded.
