Booting with "acpi_backlight=vendor", the brightness keys do nothing, and the gnome brightness slider breaks. The /sys/class/backlight/intel_backlight/brightness file still works. I don't know if it's important, but the "max_brightness" is 7812, which might be an unusual range. Setting brightness
