You should not manually list the dependency on libaries in debian/control, but

disables OpenGL ES 1, so I think we should instead sync that, what do
you think?
BTW, vlc is generally managed by the Debian maintainer (Sebastian) even
in Ubuntu, so please consider coordinating with him when you touch vlc

What are the changes not done in Debian Experimental that were done in Ubuntu.
The changes haven't been uploaded to sid because Debian is in freeze,
and the Debian freeze is a real freeze, not like Ubuntu's…
