Hi, when fullscreen (ctl-alt-f) mode needs to select a resolution
different to that of the current desktop, a number of undesirable things
happen:
- resolution of -both- displays get changed, not just the one intended to
display kvm.
- both screens display the same thing
I can reproduce this from within the Server (Hardy March beta) installer
(ie. no X at all).

When right clicking on an entry in an RSS feed menu in firefox, all
entries in the menu are greyed out. Reopening the feed menu and right

Reproducible here. This is a new (physical) system with a more-or-less
vanilla installation of Kubuntu 7.10 AMD64, upgraded to Hardy Beta
yesterday. Tried with Konqueror at about 2/3 of the screen width and
height and fullscreen. (Resolution is 1400x1050 FYI).

When try to install the syslog-ng the system assist to REMOVE the
ubuntu-minimal package.
Since ubuntu-minimal is a core component of ubuntu it leads to a nonfunctional

Yeah, I know this fix. I don't think it will be changed in any other way
for the time being.
My advice to anyone who, like me, likes to have the shortcut pair F8 =
bluild, CTRL+F8 = clean up (make clean) is to substitute them with F11 =
build, CTRL+F11 = clean up. That does the trick for me - I

I can confirm that this issue seems to be fixed since gutsy (generic
kernel). I also tested the current hardy alpha5 (generic kernel
2.6.24-10) and couldn't notice any problems in regard to the described
issue.

the desktop (but NOT letting go of the mouse button) and dragging back
to original location and it disappears but the reappears on its own in

A complete loss of sound on all programmes in Hardy after installing the
latest update early June 2008. Nothing else had changed as so I can
only conclude that it is a problem with that updat.

Also a good 'workaround' for me to omit this behavior is to set the
refresh rate (at preferences menu gnome-system-monitor) at a higher or
equal value than four.

- ASUS P3B-F (Intel 440BX chipset)

- the camera is a Triplex Mini Taco (OV518+, OV7620)
(The other two machines are debian boxen with hand-rolled vanilla
