Does the Ubuntu One installer correctly handle unauthorised users (e.g.

I had this problem myself just after updating. I didn't use --reset but
instead logged out, logged into Gnome Shell, then Unity 2D and then back
to Unity 3D which seemed to fix it for me. (I can't remember if i
restarted the computer - sorry.)
However another user on my machine is
unity --reset worked for me, but compiz crashed during the changeover
(before automatically restarting). Attached is the terminal response.

I am able to reproduce this in Unity 2D (up-to-date so I'd be using
5.8). I have not tried with Unity 3D (compiz) yet.
I can only seem to get the [META]/[SUPER] key to work by itself and not
any other combinations (like [META]+1 (Marlin), [META] + S (workspaces)
or [ALT] + [TAB]), nor can I get
I tried to reproduce in Unity 3D (compiz) but could not.
Perhaps this bug should be considered closed and a new one filed for my
issue with Unity 2D (unless there is already one I haven't found yet -
will keep looking).

I had this issue after running a partial upgrade for Oneiric, but I can
confirm that Joaquin's fix (see #6) worked for me.

Same as Rrrrube (see #3), I installed desktopcouch via the Ubuntu One
services tab. The progress bar said installation was complete and then
the error dialog appeared. I have not yet restarted so I can't confirm
whether it appears after login. Restarting Ubuntu One and going back to
the
Freeze points exist for several reasons, one of which is to help ensure
stability by giving developers time to properly test out the combined
sytem and iron out any issues without introducing new complexity.
The unity shopping lens, whilst possibly providing benefit to the
