I can confirm the apparently crazy behavior that Phil reported. The file
from Phil, when put in the home directory, crashes nautilus with the

to think that having global menu for maximized windows and local menus for
un-maximized ones is the logical, and expected, behavior. But well, it seems

The good news is that the patch in the ppa: https://launchpad.net/~aapo-
rantalainen/+archive/ppa-aaporantalainen works very well. So this
problem has, at least for the user of a synapctics touchpad, a solution.

Just tested it with the Live CD. X locked (black screen, just the mouse
pointer in view) at the first attempt to suspend/resume. My laptop is a
Toshiba Satellite U305 with built-in Intel graphics. I guess I am doomed
to stay with Intrepid. What a pity.

someone put at least a how-to install Jaunty and solve the bug? Does it
suffice to put a 2.6.30 kernel in, with EXA and current -intel driver?

explaining how to do it :-) ) will fix the issue on Jaunty, I can paint
