Upgrading GDM removes customized GDM configuration.
This configuration is now held in ~gdm/.gconf. After upgrading the gdm
package, the ~gdm/.gconf directory is empty. Since the new gdm utilizes
this area for configuration, upgrading the package

being held somewhere different... Sorry for those details being wrong.

insert a disc in /dev/cdrom1 (/dev/cdrom1 - sr1 - scd1), Nautilus
mounts the disc. When I take that same disc and put it in /dev/cdrom

After pulling the CD-ROM out of the drive bay and sticking in my other

I also see this bug when using 10.04.4.
The fix for me was adding AddressFamily inet to the sshd_config file.

I can confirm that I got the Spice display working as well. I did both of
1) Edit the XML file as in comment #15.
2) Remove and re-add the guest.
My only issue is that (so far) I can only see the guest's display when
using the cirrus video model. Qxl only shows me a blank screen. As
mentioned,
I can confirm 1.2 fixes things, too.
Is there any chance of these packages making their way into the 12.04
repositories? I grabbed mine through a PPA...

lost a few photos. I managed to get them back, but then noticed that
various events lost their key photos. I have not been able to get these
