When setting keyboard shortcuts in the Compiz settings manager the
super button doesn't do anything, but in Keyboard Shortcuts, doing the
same thing it comes up with 'ISO Level3 Shift', meaning that Compiz
doesn't recognize this key. Which also

It's done it again when I backup up my xorg.conf file, renaming it to
xorg.conf.old, it suddenly doesn't recognise it, it has a different icon
this time though, maybe because it's on the local partition, or maybe
because it uses a different extension.

I think that bar is just to give you a rough idea about the noise level
of the stream, if you play music or something with varying noise levels
throughout the track, then that bar is going to be jumping up and down
constantly. If you put the volume slider at 80%, then the meter below
could display

As already mentioned, this is not a wishlist item. A feature of the

reliable 3G connection all of today. Other than the phone not connecting
to the phone network at all if it's not already connected to WiFi, it

The animation follows the thumb and feels more tactile and smooth.
Requiring to slide half way across the screen is consistent with the
right edge swipe, and I always found it too close to triggering when I

I can also confirm that just changing the name attribute in
/usr/share/doc/python3.2/html/python3.2.devhelp.gz fixes this problem.
Just changing it from Python to Python3 is enough, which I've done

I am using the fixed-width length of a character in pixels, to decide
where to draw the cursor in an input box. This makes it very easy to
quickly see if there are any discrepancies, with only 1 pixel difference
between characters as shown below, the cursor can visibly move to the
wrong place

software, but we're still unsure if this is in Pygame, SDL or something
else. We also don't know what is different about this font to cause the

out of my system because my account has no password, meaning sudo/gksu
doesn't work. Which of course means I can't re-enable the password
without hacking it with a LiveCD.

OK, I've reassigned it as requested. This is just becoming mind-boggling
to me now though, I don't think there's much more I can contribute to
this bug report. I'll continue to watch it, and see if you two manage to
come up with any solutions.

cursor in the correct place. If the character 'h' is 10 pixels and 'i'
is 9 pixels, then 'hih' will be 29 pixels and the cursor would need to

I have found a gnome-shell extension which adds a menu item to blank the
screen.
This seems to work perfectly, perhaps the code used in there can be used
when the laptop lid is closed? I don't see why a quick extension can do
this better than the main system.

Hmm, I got the impression it was only unreliable in returning the
correct font. For example, if I use Monospace it still returns me the
FreeMono font. I tried the alternative of using the ttf font directly,

When trying to view an app preview, and the phone has a really weak
connection (the indicator says it has a connection, but it fails to
actually load anything) the app preview just shows a loading indicator,
and never seems to display anything. In fact, when I left it in this

Like others, this seems to happen when in a pocket, and most times when
I still think that with the lifecycle, it could be usable if it
suspended processes when the app was suspended, and restored them when
the app is resumed (equivalent to Ctrl+Z, then 'fg' ). At the moment it
just kills processes when suspended. I think most use cases like top,
watch, or ssh would
Sorry, my mistake, it already suspends the process. So, it will simply
need to resume the process (equivalent to running 'fg') when the app is
resumed. This would likely handle most usecases without needing a
lifecycle exception, or enabling developer mode.

document.contents[foo] = bar has no effect.
This results in needing to write the above code as:
var temp = document.contents
temp[foo] = bar
document.contents = temp
This is annoying and ugly code everytime I want to update a single
value.
