I've just made a fresh Xubuntu 13.10 install. Disabling touchpad while
typing from the mouse settings menu is still useless due to immense
default delay.
I still have to use this trick:

The battery icon is missing tooltip information such as remaining time
(to charge on AC or to zero when on battery). It used to be there in the
older version (suposingly gnome applet?).
E.g. Orgage panel clock or Pidgin icons show tooltips normally.

Yes, there are workarounds, indeed... But why not to stick with a
multiplatform standard? I believe CTRL+SHIFT+SPACE is used on most
systems for non-breaking space...

After performing all upgrades and installing some extra packages (gimp,
unattended updates, libreoffice, vino, openssh) and purging some other
(gnumeric, abiword) on fresh install I've started suffering strange
graphical issues (glitches) - see the attached screenshots.
Hmm... when I removed 2 additional DDR RAM modules (out of 4), being
said, leaving just the original two, glitches do not appear.
Interresting on this is that I let memtest+ running overnight with all 4
modules for 17 hours and... no error at all.
Weird. Need some more tests.

Using Touchpad without properly functional settings like disabling while
typing is a real pain. It should be fixed. Skilled users like us may
still use console and fixes like 'syndaemon -i 1 -d -t -K', but what
about the poor normal users?

and the less experienced users should have the possibility to experience
the general smoothness of using *buntu family

Unfortunatelly, in my case, the workaround described works only for
first hibernation after fresh boot :/ Any next hibernation would fail
ending-up with a login screen like if I had just locked the desktop.
In dmesg I see some weird info regarding nouveau - see eg. log time time
"8109.997421" in

Has this been fixed already? If I am about to spend my time in configuring
Remote Apps on my Windows server, I would like to know if it's worth the time,
because if clipboard is not working, it is almost useless, since CTRL+C|V|X is
a critically important feature...
