I am experiencing this problem on my Raspberry Pi 2. By changing
permissions to the /var/run/mumble-server to 777, it works.
Maybe this can be investigated as I lack the skills to go any further.

ABINIT tests expose problems in gfortran 4.2
Public bug reported:
Here's how to reproduce the problem on Ubuntu Gutsy Gibbon:
Get abinit-5.4.4.tar.gz from http://www.abinit.org and unpack it. Do the
following commands:
./configure FC=gfortran
make
cd tests
make tests_v4 start=08
make tests_v5 start=11

In my attempt to debug the problem, I found a couple bits of weirdness:
Compiling with the option -ffpe-trap=invalid,zero,overflow has no
effect. I still get the NaNs with gfortran 4.2. By the way, this option
can be set by setting FC_FLAGS to that option.
If I uncomment these lines in the file

Binary package hint: aspell
For some reason, the compatibility scripts ispell and spell, which
replace the real ispell and spell programs, are stuffed in the directory
/usr/share/doc/aspell/examples rather than placed more straightforwardly
in, say, an aspell-compat package.
This bug confirmed on a fresh install of Ubuntu Gutsy Gibbon amd64.

ABINIT tests expose problems in gfortran 4.2
I compiled a 2.6.25.3 kernel on Ubuntu, which has the latest stable
iwl3945 driver, and this fixed the wireless problem for me. Obviously,
that's a lousy permanent solution, but it indicates (1) that the
upstream fix worked, and (2) that the problem can be solved with an

Any ideas?
Do you have the microcode for iwl3945 installed where the driver can
find it? It should be in, IIRC, /lib/firmware/`uname -r` or something
like that.

I've been trying to find a way to compile gfortran 4.3 manually to
reproduce the NaNs. (gfortran 4.3 produced NaNs on OS X.). So far, no
luck.
These configure options lead to an ABINIT that does *not* produce the

Good news and bad news:
* I tried the gfortran from gcc-snapshot, and that worked. No NaNs.
* I then updated with the hardy-proposed updates (using the instructions at

Now I had NaNs. :(
