I am experiencing the same problem in 19.10 (eoan), with the default
Gnome DE, so no Unity involved.
The icon disappears for some seconds from the tray, and at the same time
the browser seems to forget some data, such as favicons and most visited
sites. I also tried to describe the issue here:

I'm using hplip 3.19.12 with the plugin installed, on Ubuntu 19.10 with
xsane 0.999-7. I can scan at 300 dpi in either color or grey, but
setting 200 or 600 dpi, as well as trying to get a preview, fails with a

I have the same bug after upgrading to 18.04. I tried to add video to
the pdf with multimedia package and pdfpc-movie, neither is working. The
example from https://pdfpc.github.io/ is also not working.

I also think it is a blocker. I am a non technical user, I have lost one

Same problem here with T440s. I found a quick workaround. I put the
computer in standby when the 5 dots of ubuntu logo are stuck. Then
resume and the login screen appears.

Hi. I have this problem too on T440s with 18.04 (kernel 4.15.0-22). The

Testing with an old machine with a GeForce 6600 I have visualization
