This slipped between other bugs, thanks for the ping. I'm not sure there's anything else to do here as I can't reproduce this issue anymore. Comment on attachment 9223784 562977-progressmeter-statusbar.patch Review of attachment 9223784: - I tested this on my slow mac and the CPU usage spikes up to 60%, with or without this patch. Nonetheless, the UI changes to the progress bar are welcome as it brings consistency to the interface. I'm not sure I like the current style of the progress bar. The height is a bit too tall and the border + bg color + animation + progress color makes this little widget look a bit busy and over styled. What do you think about: - 4px height - 2px border radius - no border color I'll see if I have any capacity later this week to investigate this and see if I can find how to prevent the spike in CPU usage. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/109943 Title: Thunderbird: high CPU usage from progress bars To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/thunderbird/+bug/109943/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

[Bug 1876294] [NEW] Sound routing is wrong when connecting multiple audio outputs
Public bug reported: $ lsb_release -rd Description:Ubuntu 20.04 LTS Release:20.04 $ apt-cache policy gnome-control-center gnome-control-center: Installed: 1:3.36.1-1ubuntu5 Candidate: 1:3.36.1-1ubuntu5 Version table: *** 1:3.36.1-1ubuntu5 500 500 http://uk-mirrors.evowise.com/ubuntu focal/main amd64 Packages 100 /var/lib/dpkg/status After updating to 20.04 I had issues reproducing sound with my bluetooth headphones. Selecting the headphones as output device in the "sound" section of the gnome control center results in playing the sound from the laptop speaker. I installed "pulse audio volume control" (package avucontrol/focal,now 4.0-1build1 amd64) and manually specified the built-in audio profile to "Off". [Bug 1811504] Re: scan with Laserjet MFP-M28 fails
Hi all, just wanted to add my experience to this. I'm using hplip 3.19.12 with the plugin installed, on Ubuntu 19.10 with xsane 0.999-7. I can scan at 300 dpi in either color or grey, but setting 200 or 600 dpi, as well as trying to get a preview, fails with a 503. [Bug 1779827] Re: failure to boot with linux-image-4.15.0-24-generic
Same problem here with T440s. I found a quick workaround. I put the computer in standby when the 5 dots of ubuntu logo are stuck. Then resume and the login screen appears. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1779827 Title: failure to boot with linux-image-4.15.0-24-generic To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+bug/1779827/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 1722478] Re: Two-finger scrolling no longer works after resuming from suspend
Hi. I have this problem too on T440s with 18.04 (kernel 4.15.0-22). [Bug 1769346] [NEW] Unable to install 18.04 server AMD64 with targeted kernel: initramfs-tools
Public bug reported: Trying to install from: ubuntu-18.04-server-amd64.iso at boot: F6->expert mode and F4->minimal VM I go through the usual steps but when it comes to the "install the system" phase, if I select normal (not live) and then "targeted", the installation stops with an error on initramfs. The error doesn't occur if I use a generic kernel instead of the targeted one. at that phase I'm not yet able to install reportbug so below you'll find what I found in syslog. VM running under ESXi 6.7. Thanks!
