Hi Bridget.
Yes, you do need to run that command.
If you look in the Applications menu you should find a terminal menu
item. Click on it and you will be shown a terminal - a screen into
which you can enter commands. Run that command. You can cut and paste
if you like.
sudo dpkg --configure
fix the problem. There is a way to fix the problem from a graphical
interface, but I am not able to help you with that presently.

I have my ML-2010 connected to my desktop. On my Laptop running

That's a cryptic message, since rastertospl2 used to be part of the

That message is quite cryptic to a non-technical user. As well, it does
not specify that sudo must be used to successfully run the command.

I can confirm that the ml-2010 does not print with the current version

Binary package hint: linux-image-2.6.20-16-generic
When I boot linux-image-2.6.20-16-generic, only my root filesystem hard
disk gets mounted. The superblock of my other hard drive is not
detected. This only happens when I boot the linux-
image-2.6.20-16-generic kernel.
I am experiencing this. I cannot load mail.yahoo.ca without
segfaulting.
I can, however, create a new user, log into that account and
successfully browse that page.
Deleting my personal data and removing plugins and extensions does not
solve the problem for my original user.
