I've got the same problem after Fiesty - Gusty upgrade via 'update-
manager -c'. After trying to add those items to my panel nothing
happens. 'ps auxn | grep -i xfce' produces this:
1000 29364 0.0 0.0 0 0 ?Z16:03 0:00
[xfce4-systemloa] defunct
1000 29365 0.0
like Helmut wrote - linking libxmms.so with libxmms.so.1 solves the
problem for xmms
$ ls -l libxmm*
lrwxrwxrwx 1 root root12 2007-12-18 21:30 libxmms.so - libxmms.so.1
