I seem to have the same (or related) problem with a Dell Latitude e6410
(core i5 M560) using its DisplayPort (through a DisplayPort to Dual-link
DVI adapter) to connect a LG-W3000H at 2560x1600. I get these messages:

Hi, I doubt it is an aptitude problem. It looks like the package somehow
is not completely available. If you try to download the package directly
from any mirror on http://packages.ubuntu.com/lucid/amd64/python-
qt4/download, you see what I mean. Many mirrors time out, and those
those that don't
