The problem still exists in Ubuntu 13.10.
I was unable to do the requested test in the daily build because the daily
build is not functional enough.
Booting from the live CD, the mouse did no initially work. I had to unplug it
and plug it back in before I could click on the "try ubuntu" button.

programs around in my menus.
I attempted to move the Main Menu item from the "other" directory back into the
"preferences" directory where it belongs, but failed.

logged in.
After upgrading to Ubuntu 13.10 the script stopped functioning.
I tracked the failure down to ck-list-sessions not outputting anything.
When I run it from a terminal, this is what I get:

I have a PowerColor AX4850 512MD3-DHO video card, a BenQ XL2420TX monitor,
and a Dell 3008WFP monitor.
I tried to connect the BenQ monitor with the DisplayPort connection.

I have the opposite problem, the speed is too slow. I turn off acceleration
because I want a linear transfer function between mouse move & cursor positon.
The sensitivity setting does nothing.

likelyhood of the failure, but did not eliminate it.

I'm not so sure that this is a duplicate of that bug. I did not have the
proprietary drivers installed when I upgraded. This bug should have
nothing to do with the proprietary drivers.

Another symtem to add: I have been getting long seequences where it
boots only into low graphics mode. (5 or 6 boots in a row). I have not
had the patience to see if it would eventually recover on its own, but
booting with my second monitor (HDMI) disconnected seems to exit the
sequence. Once boote

screen. It stopped with the following text on the screen:

The dmesg was generated on a working configuration.
I haven't attempted to ssh into the DisplayPort only configureation, but I am
sure the system is running, and SSH would work, because the proper sound
effects happen, the screen is just blank.
