Strange! After the upgrade, a log out, log in sequence restarted X in
1280x800. Whereas my xorg.conf is exactly the same as the 'right after
live cd boot' I uploaded earlier. When I use screens and graphics, it

My Edgy installation was working just fine with network manager. I have
a bcm43xx card. I just upgraded to Feisty and it seems to be impossible
to let network manager connect. It is an unsecured network and I can't
test a secured network at this moment. I have this problem with both
ndiswrapper

Feisty Beta still starts with 1024x768 on my 1400x1050 screen. When the
install is final, I have to manually run dpkg-reconfigure xserver-xorg,
which, I think, might be important to include in the release notes
before less knowlegdeable people will instantly switch to some other
distro which
No, it isn't. The app-install-data-commercial package is from edgy/main.
However, this bug can be closed (sorry, that I didn't think of it
earlier) since the bug is fixed. The version in edgy is now 6, which is
higher than the version in dapper-updates. The package has been
upgraded.
