Ok, so I downgraded from 0.19.0-1 which I had manually installed from
yakkety, and installed 0.18.0-1ubuntu0.1 from xenial-proposed. I tried
one clear test so far, and it did not crash. It also seemed to log in
from wake up quite a bit faster. It would usually hang for a while
after I entered
I now know how to reproduce this everytime:
* put my laptop to sleep/suspend
* wake it up
* before doing anything, plug in my USB mouse
If I plug in the USB mouse any time between wake up and logging into
lightdm, I get this crash. Every time without fail.

with light-locker 1.7.0-2ubuntu1 and xserver-xorg-input-libinput

The keys are in the position of F keys but are not at all labeled as F keys.
They are all labeled as media keys, basically. I'm not sure what the official
definition of F keys are, but I do know that users of this laptop will not
expect them to type F keys, but instead control the volume,

top row of the Chromebook, starting with the Left-Arrow key, which is
just to the right of the Esc key:

internal laptop drive with dual boot HFS+/Mac OS X and ext4/GNU/Linux.
The grub-mount hang never happens with that disk. It does happen when
my external backup disk is attached. I thought maybe it had something

I'm also on Ubuntu/precise and got the same results as Aixa Ardin. My
music is on a partition that for some reason didn't automount like it
normally does. That caused gmusicbrowser to give this same error. The
same thing happens in v1.1.10. Remounting the partition fixed the

of sync with the libmtp API. pymtp is a ctypes wrapper of libmtp, so its

When upgrading two barebones precise chroots (one i386, the other amd64)
to quantal via the terminal, I got this same exact error. And
installing pciutils also solved it for me. do-release-upgrade is dying
because it can't find 'lspci': Since the problem is with do-release-
upgrade, perhaps
on the amd64 chroot, 'apt-get install pciutils' alone failed to fix the
problem. I also had to 'apt-get install openssh-server' since
/usr/bin/sshd did not exist.

I attached a screenshot to show one other odd detail that may or may not
be related. In the upper left corner, you can see a yellow star. That
is from the VoIP app Twinkle, it is a Qt app. It is supposed to be in
the menu bar. It was originally in there when I first installed it
about month
I purged lightdm and used my computer with gdm, and the problem still
happened. I originally had lightdm active and gdm installed. Now that
the problem also happens with only gdm, I have purged gdm and am only
using lightdm.

started syncing to Ubuntu One. I've been trying all sorts of things. I
did get one sync that was branded a success, and it does seem to be
