did some more testing and found out how to reproduce with some more

whenever I have disabled my readeon with
echo OFF /sys/kernel/debug/vgaswitcheroo/switch
go to standby (close laptop lid)
resume
and then (manually) run (after logged in in unity/gnome/whatever)

I've got this same issue as well on my Sony VPC-SA
I tried this with the latest upstream, on a clean-install with only some
small power-saving tweaks.
Most importantly is probably: I disable the radeon with vgaswitcheroo on
startup:

echo OFF
I also noticed a running-unity tag, but I don't think unity is related.
when I resume from standby and get into the login-prompt at lightdm I
can also press CTRL+ALT+F1 to switch to my terminal (instead of entering
my password) to notice the same freeze for 5 seconds.

This happens on my MacBookPro 5.5 after resuming from standby (I just installed
uswsusp). I wend into standby by running
sudo s2ram --force
Resuming from standby works OK, everything seems to work, except that I
didn't see
can someone please unscribe me from the phpmyadmin package. It is
driving me crazy and I can't seem to find why I am being notified, and

I have this same issue and THINK I FOUND THE TRIGGER..
I have two different Nvidia's (PCIe) and 3 monitors.
I setup xinerama to link the displays, which is working great! Until once in a
while my mouse isn't working as expected anymore.

I would agree with you and say that gnome-bluetooth has nothing to do with the
keyboard.
But I also don't think it had anything to do with bluez, since my keyboard and
mouse where working in the terminal, they only stopped functioning in X
(gdm/gnome/kde4)

I did an apt-cache search on pidgin, since U was looking for the plugin
that allows for changing the language for spell-checking. I did an
custom-build on hardy and hoped it was included in 8.10
found several results worth checking out so I did:

I just installed it,
manually installed my nvidia driver
and the pen is working again (also after suspending) but you already had some
idea of that of course ;-)

Ahhh, so it isn't a bug: it is a (very confusing) feature.
You are right that it has another icon, and it isn't included in the
total-count. However since it is also bold, just like new articles I
wrongfully understood it as a wrongfully marked new article. I think it

The Eclipse version from the repository is too old for the pdt-tools I
use.

Bluetooth now works, from gdm on (in latest hardy)
However I now have the same bug as mentioned somewhere else in launchpad
