It's clear and simple - try to drag a PNG file from Krusader to the Unity
launcher to Inkscape icon in the launcher. Thats it. You can't do that in

This is another bug, I have it too. I reported it - but got no response.
Using xrandr could leave you with all displays turned off. On my
computer xrandr --output LVDS1 --off will turn off both displays most

Right now I have to be very careful not to close Clementine or Pidgin or
Amule windows because the tray icons are not only not clickable - they
are also not showing at all (to get them to show I have to restart Unity
- but after a few minutes they disappear again). My report about it was

Yes, I have this problem in 11.04. If I have nvidia-current installed
Unity (and OpenGL as a whole) doesn't work.

Unity stopped working
@Ordarney - if you have dual cards (Intel Sand Bridge + Nvidia) then you
can try uninstalling nvidia-current - it helped me (to some extent -
OpenGL and Unity works now but is less stable), but I of course lost the
ability to switch to nvidia with Bumblebee.

On a Samsung laptop with Nvidia Optimus Unity stopped working after updating
the system. Both cards (nvidia and Intel) are capable of using Compiz and were
working (both - using Bumblebee) before.
