I'd call this a bug. The visible-on-mouseover scrollbars introduced in
11.04 are slow, are unreliable, and are a usability/accessibility
nightmare. The old-style scrollbars at least worked.
Suggested fix: open the software center and disable the new-style
scrollbars.

important. I don't have any trouble with global menus, but I used to use
a Mac [which has global menus], and I used to have a malfunctioning Alps
touchpad on

installed. I used another program to split off some sample png pages to
see if OCRFeeder, or anything, would work on them. But with Tesseract
2.0, OCRFeeder spits out gibberish, and now with Tesseract 3.0,
I can't get OCRFeeder to detect pdf files, but it chokes, freezes up,
and freezes the whole system on even two-page djvu files.
