[Bug 108392] Re: No sound on Compaq V3000 laptop on feisty
I can confirm this bug with my T60. I could hear sound for a second every time I plugged or unplugged the AC jack. I rebooted several times using the most current and the previous kernel but no luck. Then I unplugged the power jack, halted the os, and removed the battery. After booting the AC jack unplugged, now I again have sound. [Bug 35501] Re: screensaver make crash GDM
I can confirm this on Feisty. I'm running XGL + fglrx drivers + beryl, and I cannot use screensaver. If I choose to just blank screen, the screensaver unlock dialog crashes. If I try to use some 3d screensaver, it crashes the whole desktop and immediately takes me to the gdm login screen. -- screensaver make crash GDM https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/35501 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is a direct subscriber. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 109163] [apport] kicker crashed with SIGSEGV in KMiniPager::slotSetDesktop()
Public bug reported: Binary package hint: kicker I have a singlehead/dualhead system (Thinkpad T43, sometimes with external monitori, sometimes not). [Bug 79439] Re: New aiccu version 2007.01.15 released
No. It doesn't work for dapper because libgnutls13 is not available. The following packages have unmet dependencies: aiccu: Depends: libc6 (= 2.3.6-6) but 2.3.6-0ubuntu20 is to be installed Depends: libgnutls13 (= 1.4.0-0) but it is not installable Depends: libgnutls13 but it is not installable E: Broken packages I also tried to recompile it following the instructions on the sixxs web page. [Bug 79439] Re: New aiccu version 2007.01.15 released
Tried to compile libgnutls13 from edgy source package but it appeared to be quite difficult and complicated because of missing libtasn1-3 packages for dapper :( So. Yup. Font settings altered via systemsettings app don't seem to apply. I can confirm it, too. My system is i686 and I upgraded today from dapper. For me the apt-get install xserver-xorg-video-all didn't help...
