Upon bootup, the HDMI output connected to a Samsung TV shows up as an
output. If this output is selected and a sound test run (either using
the GUI or using aplay /user/share/sounds/alsa/Front_Center.wav) no

oodraw claims the file is corrupt if I try to open it and won't display.
I'm not sure if is is oodraw of inkscape's fault. In any case, should I

On second thought... Filesystem is kind of a meta-concept that just
happens to include the root parition. What would probably make sense is
to summarise all the mounted filesystem's info somehow. This is actually
a surprisingly complicated issue to present completely logically in an

My firefox has stopped crashing on that site. The only significant
change that I've made had been to remove a very old flash plugin that
was in my ~/.mozilla which meant that ff was using flash 7 and not the
newer flash 9. I was unaware of this old flash plugin lying around, I
wonder how it

I tried by starting firefox in a fresh session, ie.
firefox -ProfileManager
in a terminal and created a new profile. The url still causes firefox to
hang. I'm not sure how to get a crash report, since firefox doesn't
actually crash, rather it becomes unresponsive and takes 100% CPU.

Edgy system with no crash. Hoary shipped xscreensaver v4.16. Breezy (the
version where crashes started happening) ships xscreensaver v4.21. If
you look at the xscreensaver changelog entry for v4.20

a hardware reset to reboot. I edited ~/.xmms/config to turn off the
double size option, and it starts normally. If I enable double-size
